Job summary

Amgen seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to support the Bone Health business unit across West Covina, Torrance, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Inland Empire and Palm Springs. You will focus on patient access and reimbursement, educating providers and coordinating with the HUB and payers.

Travel up to 40% and 2 days per week in geography with remote work options. Requires advanced degree and leadership experience; 3+ years in managed care or pharmaceutical sales preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience leading teams, projects, or programs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills and project management experience.
• Experience in public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, and/or sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined accounts within a geographic region for patient access and reimbursement.
• Execute the territory strategic plan to support products.
• Educate and update healthcare providers on payer coverage and changes.
• Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with HUB and other partners.
• Provide information on coverage under Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid.
• Travel up to 40% and support reimbursement processes from prior authorization to appeals.
