Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) to support reimbursement and patient services across a defined territory. The role involves educating offices about benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and claims processes, with both remote and on-site engagements.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience.
• Must have Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience.
• Proven presentation skills and experience.
• Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and excellent organizational skills.
• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and on-demand education for office staff regarding reimbursement challenges and available support services.
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and Medicare/Commercial coverage; report topics monthly and quarterly.
• Conduct case management support, billing/coding updates, claims submission, and patient assistance program coordination.
• Set up appointments and outbound calls to targeted offices; coordinate with physicians and manufacturers.
• Monitor territory performance and report trends; participate in quarterly client reporting.
• Research provider and manufacturer information to build reimbursement database records.
