Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) to support reimbursement and patient services for assigned territories across the United States. You will educate offices on reimbursement pathways, manage benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeals, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure optimal customer outcomes.

Travel up to 80% is expected, with on-site and remote education sessions.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare reimbursement experience.
• Experience with Medicare and commercial insurance coverage.
• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy is a plus.
• Proven presentation skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient with PowerPoint and web meeting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote education for office staff on reimbursement challenges.
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and payer processes.
• Travel to offices; on-site visits and remote training approximately 80% of the time.
• Record activities in FRM CRM; report to manager weekly.
• Collaborate with case managers on escalations and backlog work.
• Set up appointments and outbound calls to target offices.
• Maintain provider/manufacturer data in FRM CRM for reimbursement workflows.
