Job summary

Applicants must reside in the greater Canton area. The starting wage is $27.67/hr, with potential for additional compensation based on experience and transferable skills. This is a remote field role requiring travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Construction or Insurance experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills—both oral and written.
• Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency with smartphones and applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations by visiting policyholders’ residences to assess property damage and negotiate settlements.
• Use claims software, a company car, and a laptop to write estimates in a paperless environment.
• Evaluate and report on subrogation opportunities.
• Report incidents involving theft, fraud, or arson to state/industry agencies.
• Interact professionally with policyholders, claimants, agents and contractors.
