Job summary

SafelyYou is seeking a Field Operations Engineer to remotely install and manage on-premises hardware at customer sites, troubleshooting sensors, and ensuring production readiness. You will liaise with a tiered support structure and contribute to process improvements and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Deployment of on-prem hardware in customer networks.
• Strong Linux and network configuration knowledge.
• Experience with remote installations and field support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Own installation, config, and activation of on-prem equipment.
• Troubleshoot sensor installation and performance.
• Provide Tier 1 support coordination and on-call rotation.
• Create SOPs, knowledge-base articles, and cross-train teammates.
• Maintain SLA commitments and ensure service uptime.
