Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to translate HIT insights into practical opportunities that improve patient identification, clinical workflows, and care coordination across multiple health systems.

You will educate customers on approved EHR-enabled tools, support evaluation for potential use, and coordinate HIT resources with cross-functional teams while ensuring governance and compliance. A strong HIT background and customer-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 3 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR-related roles.
Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and major EHR platforms (Athenahealth, Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Meditech, OncoEMR, iKnowMed).
Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams with hands-on knowledge of EHR products and governance.
Epic or other major EHR vendor certification, CPHIMS, RHIA or RHIT is a plus.
Advanced degree in health informatics, clinical informatics, or related field.

Responsibilities

Partner with health-system stakeholders to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to improve care delivery.
Educate customers on EHR-enabled, digital, patient identification, and measurement resources.
Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement with internal partners.
