Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an ECH Field Engineer to deploy and validate Emergency Call Handling solutions across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will configure systems, test readiness, document changes and support customers and partners during deployment, with a strong focus on remote work and significant travel.

The ideal candidate has IT/engineering training, 5+ years in technical roles, cloud certifications, and hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Security+).
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V) and SQL Server.
• Windows/Linux server administration and network equipment knowledge.
• Public safety applications deployment experience preferred.
• U.S. citizenship or security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS components.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Supports customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to the solution and API integrations during implementation.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Assists in Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and system upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations as required.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
