Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an ECH Field Engineer to deploy and support Emergency Call Handling solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. This remote role requires extensive travel and collaboration with customers and partners to ensure smooth deployments and cutovers.

You will configure systems, verify site readiness, troubleshoot connectivity, and document changes while maintaining security and best practices in cloud migrations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft) preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting including connectivity and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with virtualization and server operating systems.
• Telephony knowledge related to analog lines and PRI.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes to the solution, including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved promptly.
• Contributes to Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
