Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a skilled Commissioning Engineer with a strong electrical background and mechanical systems experience to support the commissioning of modular data centers. You will ensure electrical and mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to meet reliability standards from factory acceptance to site handover.

This role requires 70% travel and remote work; candidates should be trained electricians with experience reviewing drawings and coordinating with vendors,

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 to 6 years of electrical experience.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• Ability to review electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage commissioning activities for modular data centers from factory acceptance through site acceptance.
• Test electrical systems and BMS integration.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders to align schedules.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental requirements are met.
• Be available for international travel for asset training and deployment.
