Job summary

DataX Connect is seeking a Commissioning Field Specialist to lead on-site commissioning across hyperscale data center projects. You will direct vendors, troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and controls systems, and ensure commissioning plans align with schedule and budget.

You’ll travel up to 75% across the U.S., with remaining time for remote work, reporting to project leadership and engaging directly with clients to validate systems and deliver reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead field activities and act as client-facing representative.
• NFPA 70E and/or OSHA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site commissioning activities including inspection, validation, functional testing, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.

We’re partnering with a national leader in data center engineering to hire a Commissioning Field Specialist. This is a high-impact, field-based role supporting hyperscale and mission-critical projects across the U.S.

The Role
