Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Remote ECH Field Engineer to deploy and integrate cloud-based public safety solutions across the US, with extensive travel. You’ll configure on-site and cloud components, test thoroughly, and work with customers and partners to ensure smooth production cuts.

Strong cloud, virtualization, and telephony skills are essential. You will ensure documentation, participate in cloud migrations, and stay up-to-date with evolving public safety technologies while supporting

Qualifications

• Experience deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Microsoft) and security+ exposure.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting, connectivity, latency, and identity management.
• Experience with server virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server deployments.
• Telephony knowledge related to analog lines and PRI.
• Ability to travel up to 75% for US and international projects.
• US passport or eligibility for international travel; ability to obtain security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions, including cloud and SaaS apps.
• Perform site verification testing before production cut.
• Configure connectivity between local infra and cloud environments.
• Provide deployment support to customers and partners.
• Document changes including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Develop and approve methods of procedure for cloud migrations.
• Support pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintain skills in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
