Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring a remote ECH Field Engineer to deploy and integrate cloud-based and on-premise Emergency Call Handling solutions across the US. The role requires extensive travel (50–75%) and reporting to the ECH Field Engineer Manager.

You will configure systems, perform site verification, troubleshoot connectivity, and document changes. A strong background in cloud platforms and IP deployment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or Technology.
• 3+ years deployments and integrations of complex IP products and systems.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms and deployment models (Azure/AWS).
• Troubleshooting cloud-based apps, including connectivity, latency, and SSO/AD.
• Relevant cloud certifications are a plus (AWS, Azure).
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ required.

Responsibilities

• Configure systems for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Perform site verification testing before production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Support customers and partners during deployment to production.
• Document changes including cloud tenants and API integrations.
• Ensure issues are resolved timely and efficiently.
• Contribute to MOPs for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participate in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintain SME skills in cloud-native public safety tech.
