Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer for a remote US role with extensive travel. You will configure, test, and support Emergency Call Handling deployments across on-premise and cloud environments, collaborating with customers and partners to ensure successful production cutovers and ongoing system performance. A strong background in cloud platforms and public safety technology is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related technology.
• 3+ years deploying and integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or private cloud environments.
• Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner; Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to the solution and cloud configurations during implementation.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation and quality issues.
• Contributes to methods of procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in customer presentations and negotiations as needed.
• Maintains skills in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
