IMEG seeks a Field Construction Administrator in Austin, TX to provide on-site construction observation and serve as a key coordinator between contractors, engineers and the project team for data center work.

You will maintain daily site presence, document progress, track communications, and help keep work aligned with contract documents while supporting coordination across architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients on industrial and manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in building design consulting or construction; 3 years preferred.
• Associates degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; 4+ years in construction preferred.
• Travel up to 100% and work onsite at project locations.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site presence to represent owner's interests.
• Perform site observations and inform contractors/engineers as requested.
• Keep engineers informed of status, problems, and liability issues.
• Observe work to ensure alignment with contract documents.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Document meeting minutes; prepare daily construction status reports.
• Review and interpret contract documents; obtain information from design engineers.
• Issue and track reports on project deficiencies.
• Coordinate coordination issues; record events and document circumstances.
• Track latest drawings and revisions; ensure correct use by contractors.
• Track RFIs/submittals; address critical path items with design team.
• Assist with resolving construction issues; support closeout; ensure safety compliance.
