Job summary

The Company is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support regional sales teams by translating customer requirements into technical solutions across FPGA/DSP, RF, and embedded computing. You will present product roadmaps and capabilities, and act as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and internal groups during pre-sales and implementation.

This fully remote role covers Texas and adjacent regions with travel of 50%+, including overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Field Applications Engineering, Technical Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable customer-facing technical role.
• Strong technical understanding of hardware/software integration and embedded computing systems.
• Experience gathering customer requirements and translating customer needs into technical requirements or product recommendations.
• Proven ability to provide technical sales support and collaborate with regional sales managers.
• Experience presenting technical information, product capabilities, and solutions to customers.
• Strong understanding of FPGA/DSP-based embedded hardware.
• Strong understanding of RF and analog technologies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more, including overnight and multi-day trips.
• Ability to travel regularly, often approximately two weeks per month depending on customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Support regional sales managers by understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate technical solutions.
• Present products and technology roadmaps to customers and stakeholders.
• Act as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and internal teams during pre-sales engagements and ongoing support.
• Assist across the customer engagement lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation and post-sale support.
• Travel regularly to customer sites and events to ensure successful deployments.
