Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Field Application Engineer (electronics) to support regional sales teams across Texas and Canada. The role is fully remote within the territory, involving extensive travel to customer sites.

You will help customers identify solutions for aerospace and defense applications, present product roadmaps, and bridge communications between customers, sales, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 3+ years in field applications engineering or equivalent customer-facing technical role.
• Strong hardware/software integration knowledge in embedded systems.
• Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements.
• Proven ability to provide technical sales support with regional teams.
• Experience presenting technical information and product capabilities.
• Strong understanding of FPGA/DSP-based embedded hardware and RF/analog tech.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Support regional sales managers by understanding customer requirements and recommending technical solutions.
• Present product portfolio and technology roadmaps to customers.
• Act as technical bridge between customers, sales, and internal teams during pre-sales and post-sales support.
• Travel to customer sites regularly across Texas and Canada.
