Job summary

MissionHires seeks a Field Application/Sales Engineer to drive embedded computing, FPGA/DSP, RF, and signal-processing solutions for aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. This fully remote, customer-facing role partners with regional sales managers and engineering teams to design and implement winning solutions.

You will capture customer requirements, present technical capabilities, and support pre-sales activities from discovery through implementation, with travel about half the time

Qualifications

• 3+ years in field applications engineering or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience with embedded computing hardware/software integration.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ for regional visits.

Responsibilities

• Support customer engagements and drive technically sound solution recommendations.
• Gather, clarify, and document customer requirements for embedded computing, FPGA/DSP, RF, and signal-processing applications.
• Translate customer needs into technical requirements, product recommendations, and solutions.
• Present product capabilities, roadmaps, demonstrations, and application information to customers and prospects.
• Act as the technical bridge between customers, sales teams, and internal engineering organizations.
• Provide pre-sales technical support throughout the sales cycle and assist with proposals.
• Travel regularly for customer visits and multi-day trips.
