Amphenol Aerospace is seeking a Regional Field Applications Engineer to work remotely from a home office. The role involves engaging customers in technical discussions to generate new business opportunities and partnering with Product Marketing, Sales and customers to design solutions.

The candidate should have a B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred), CAD/ProE skills, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. Travel domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• Ability to work with CAD and ProE for design work.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

Aufgaben

• Engage with Product Marketing, Sales and Customers to quickly generate product design solutions.
• Build responsive technical relationships with customers.
• Data analytics – market and technology research.
• Interface with customers and vendors to assure conformance to customer requirements.
• Interpret customer and internal drawings and 3D files.
• Communicate conceptual designs to customers and internal manufacturing.
• Review customer documents for compliance with AAO requirements.
• Understand financial cost / pricing of AAO products.
