Job summary

Atrandi Biosciences is seeking an experienced Field Application Scientist to guide customers from initial evaluation through hands-on training, successful experiments, and continued adoption.

Based remotely in the U.S. West Coast (California preferred), you will collaborate with sales, support, product, and R&D teams to accelerate adoption, resolve technical challenges, and generate high-quality data.

Qualifications

• Two+ years customer-facing experience supporting single‑cell omics apps.
• Master’s degree or higher in molecular biology or related field.
• Hands-on proficiency with single‑cell sequencing workflows.
• Knowledge of NGS data quality metrics and interpretation.
• Ability to present scientifically and train audiences.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Independent field work with cross-team collaboration.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales evaluations and deliver demonstrations.
• Train and onboard customers via on-site and remote sessions.
• Guide experimental design and data quality considerations.
• Resolve technical issues and coordinate escalations.
• Create technical materials and onboarding guides.
• Support partners and new applications across territories.
• Build relationships with researchers and labs.
• Maintain accurate customer records and feedback.
