Job summary

PennEngineering is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our North America team. This role focuses on providing technical support, developing plans for new product concepts, and coordinating testing across customer accounts.

You’ll work with diverse industries and partner with design engineering to tailor applications to customer needs. You will travel up to North America and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve products, processes, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or engineering technology required.
• Two years of engineering design experience required including 3D modeling.
• Ability to coordinate engineering activities within a sales/marketing function.
• Strong communication skills across regions and cultures.
• Passport and North America travel ability required.

Responsibilities

• Independently apply engineering principles to solve mechanical problems.
• Serve as the voice of the customer for assigned accounts and manage long-term, data-driven projects.
• Collaborate with customers and Heyco design engineering on new product applications.
• Maintain high technical competency in CAD tools and enterprise systems for quoting and design work.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and global engineering teams.
