Job summary

ABB is seeking a Services Field Application Engineer to support the Regional Commercial team in developing field services proposals for power delivery, power utilization and automation equipment. You will identify value-added service solutions for a broad client base, including upgrades and mitigation solutions, while maintaining strong field service technical skills and communication.

Qualifications

6+ years of field engineering experience with power delivery equipment or similar.
Experience reviewing customer specs, developing proposals and negotiating contracts.
Excellent written and oral communication with ability to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Drive business growth by identifying opportunities and contributing to regional sales and profitability.
Develop and present technical solutions aligned with customer needs and prepare quality proposal content.
Provide technical leadership for field service proposals, including site assessments, cost estimates and schedules.
Coordinate with sourcing and operations to fulfill requirements and support NPIs for market position.
