Job summary

ABB is seeking a Region Field Application Engineer Leader to design and specify low- and medium-voltage power distribution solutions. You will lead technical engagements with consultants, end users, utilities, and EPC firms while mentoring junior engineers and leveraging Salesforce for business insights.

The role emphasizes design, budget estimates, and power-system studies with SKM and EasyPower; travel about 25% and remote work flexibility are expected within the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of electrical distribution experience; master’s degree with 4+ years acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical system designs, one-lines, schematics, layouts and equipment specs.
• Lead technical engagements with consultants, end users and EPC/DBC firms; provide design support and budgeting.
• Drive growth by evaluating project technical, financial and risk considerations and communicating insights to leadership.
