Merck is seeking a Field Access Manager to act as the subject-matter expert on access issues for healthcare professionals and organizations. This remote/field-based role collaborates with patient support, market access, field sales, and other teams to ensure timely patient access to therapy and compliant education on access processes.

Key activities include educating HCPs on access, analyzing trends, addressing barriers with cross-functional teams, and coordinating with hub vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in patient support, pharma/healthcare sales or reimbursement.
• Knowledge of health insurance structures and related access processes (Medicare Part B, Medicaid, commercial).
• Experience with hub/patient support activities and HIPAA compliance.

Responsabilités

• Provide information and education to HCP accounts on patient access and benefit verification.
• Analyze access trends and payer coverage to address barriers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Field Sales, Market Access, and other teams to enable patient access to therapy.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to support access.
• Escalate and coordinate access issues with hub vendors and third parties.
