MSD is seeking a Field Access Manager to serve as the access SME for HCPs and HCOs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate patient access to therapy. The role is remote/field-based with 20-25% travel, focusing on payer coverage, benefits verification, and hub coordination.

You will educate providers, monitor payer trends, and support field teams in access processes while ensuring HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in patient support, Pharmaceutical/healthcare sales or reimbursement.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance structures and access processes.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality expertise.
• Experience with hub and patient support activities.
• Willingness to travel 20-25% and reside in the New Orleans area.

Responsabilités

• Provide information/education to HCP accounts on patient access and assistance.
• Analyze access trends and identify barriers to patient access.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to address access barriers and improve patient satisfaction.
• Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders to support access to therapy.
• Coordinate with the access hub on patient cases and hub enrollment.
• Educate field teams on access processes and payer coverage changes.
• Escalate access issues with third parties including hub vendors.
• Educate on Specialty Pharmacy issues and product hub programs.
