Job summary

Merck is seeking a Field Access Manager to act as the subject-matter expert on access issues for healthcare professionals and organizations. The role is remote/field-based, supporting defined accounts within an assigned geography and collaborating with field sales, market access, and patient support teams.

The FAM will analyze access barriers, coordinate with hubs, and educate HCPs on payer coverage and hub programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 7+ years in patient support, pharma/healthcare sales or reimbursement support.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance structures (Medicare Part B, Medicaid, commercial) and related access processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and education to HCP accounts on patient access and reimbursement.
• Analyze access trends and identify barriers to patient access.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support patient access and hub coordination.
