Merck is seeking a Field Access Manager (FAM) to serve as the expert on access issues for HCPs and HCOs. The role works remote and field-based, collaborating with field sales, market access, and patient support to ensure timely patient access to therapy.

You will provide information on access processes, reimbursement, and patient assistance programs, analyze access trends, and coordinate with the access hub for patient cases while adhering to policy and procedures.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in patient support, pharmaceutical/healthcare sales or operations, or reimbursement support.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance structures and related access processes.
• Expertise in pharmaceutical compliance and HIPAA regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide information and education to HCP accounts on patient access, including benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, and patient support programs.
• Analyze access trends and identify barriers to patient access and satisfaction.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to address access barriers and support patient access to therapy.
• Educate HCP offices on how products are covered under benefit designs (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid).
• Maintain knowledge of payer coverage policies and market dynamics.
• Attend national and regional meetings.
