Qualifications

• College, Trade, or Technical Diploma in civil, electrical/telecommunications or GIS preferred.
• 3+ years in OSP telecommunications or related field using AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Google Earth, Bluebeam and Adobe; GIS a plus; strong organizational and planning skills; ability to interpret construction documents and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design fiber optic and copper OSP networks for FTTH deployments and commercial developments.
• Work with power company and design power route and one-line schematics.
• Manage growth and sustainment of existing networks, including relocations and infrastructure changes.
• Perform quality control, field checks, and interpret OSP records.
• Create system designs, BOMs, and provide construction quotes.
• Conduct site walks for data collection and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Adapt within a dynamic work environment.
