Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: College, Trade, or Technical Diploma (civil, electrical/telecommunications, GIS).
• Experience: 3+ years in OSP telecommunications or related field using AutoCAD.
• Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Google Earth, Bluebeam and Adobe; GIS a plus; strong organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Design fiber optic and copper OSP networks for FTTH deployments and commercial developments.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams and support field staff with safety and quality control.
• Create system designs, BOMs, and provide construction quotes.
• Perform field checks, interpret OSP records, and manage network growth and relocations.
• Conduct site walks for data collection and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Adapt to a dynamic work environment.
