Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Default QA FHA Claims Analyst I to review FHA Part A claims for accuracy and submit the form for filing. The role operates remotely with a paying range of $22.00–$26.00 per hour and requires at least one year of mortgage servicing default experience or QA/QC exposure.

You will perform quality checks, communicate corrections, document tasks, and ensure compliance with agency guidelines and timelines.

Qualifications

• One (1) year or more mortgage servicing default experience, or QA/QC in another line of business.
• High School diploma required; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review FHA Part A claims for accuracy within investor timeframes.
• Perform quality checks using scorecards/checklists to identify errors.
• Communicate correction requests to claim filing teams and ensure timely resolutions.
• Document the system with tasks and comments and record accurate dates on forms.
• Review foreclosure and default timelines to include extensions on the form.
• Ensure documentation is included in the Claim File and final submission to the agency.
