Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Default QA FHA Claims Analyst I to review FHA Part A mortgage insurance claims for accuracy and submit the form for filing, under moderate supervision. This remote role follows the company’s policies and US laws.

The position requires attention to timelines, accuracy checks, and communication with filing teams. The team emphasizes teamwork, quality, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• 1+ years’ mortgage servicing default experience, or QA/QC experience in another line of business, or College Graduate.

Responsibilities

• Review FHA Part A claims for accuracy within investor/insurer timeframes.
• Complete quality checks using scorecards/checklists to identify errors.
• Communicate correction requests to claim filing team and ensure timely corrections.
• Document system with appropriate tasking and comments.
• Finalize and submit claim to agency for payment.
• Escalate trends or issues identified from quality review.
