Job summary

Collibra is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer to support Federal Public Sector engagements from a remote U.S. location.

You will lead technical discovery, deliver tailored demos, and drive value-based workshops across agencies navigating the procurement lifecycle. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in federal sales engineering, strong SQL skills, familiarity with government data stacks, and active security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Sales Engineering or Technical Consulting supporting U.S. Federal Government customers
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Federal data stacks (e.g., Snowflake Gov, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
• Working knowledge of NIST 800-53, FISMA, and the Federal Data Strategy
• Ability to navigate the Federal procurement cycle and build long-term relationships with Agency CDOs/CTOs/PMs
• Experience with data quality, data pipelines, data catalogs, and related tooling
• Hold active security clearance (Secret/TS) and be a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil

Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth technical discovery sessions to uncover complex needs and propose Collibra solutions
• Own technical evaluation efforts with inputs from specialists for data quality, privacy, AI governance, and platform integration
• Deliver tailored demonstrations and workshops to federal clients, including ROI/value realization
• Prepare and present product roadmaps and respond to RFPs/RFQs
• Architect customized solutions across on-premises, hybrid cloud, and secure networks
• Support sales teams with value-based selling and competitive differentiation
