Job summary

SMX is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower BAS implementation for a key federal government client. The role oversees delivery of a SAP Analytics Cloud based planning and reporting solution, requires strong governance, risk management, and collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams to realize the motto “Shared Vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Finance or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience as a Project Manager on complex IT or financial system implementations.
• Proven experience managing SAP ERP implementation and upgrades.
• Experience delivering projects for U.S. Federal Government agencies.
• Strong PM lifecycle knowledge (PMP, Agile, Hybrid).
• Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from planning to delivery.
• Serve as primary client liaison ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plan with timelines and resources.
• Oversee SAP SAC based planning and reporting capabilities.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and vendors to meet scope and budget.
• Provide regular status reporting on progress, risks, and finances.
• Ensure quality and security compliance across the project.
