Job summary

SMX is seeking a Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower BAS implementation for a federal government client. The role is remote with limited travel and requires Public Trust clearance.

You will oversee planning, delivery, and governance while coordinating with federal stakeholders, SMX teams, and vendors to ensure successful outcomes. You will guide the SAP Analytics Cloud-based planning and reporting tool, manage budgets and schedules, and drive value across the program through strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, finance or related field.
• 10+ years as a Project Manager leading complex IT/financial system implementations.
• Proven SAP ERP implementation/upgrade project experience.
• Experience managing projects for U.S. Federal Government agencies.
• Strong knowledge of PM lifecycle; PMP/Agile/Hybrid.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder influence.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage full lifecycle of CFO BAS implementation from initiation to closure.
• Serve as primary client liaison with SMX teams and vendors.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plan with tasks, timelines and risks.
• Maintain SAC platform understanding to guide the BAS solution.
• Lead cross-functional team of analysts, data engineers, and architects.
• Provide regular status reports on progress, risks, and finances.
• Ensure deliverables meet client requirements on time and within budget.
