Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert to support an AI-focused project remotely in the United States. You will create, review, and evaluate federal and military-style reports while applying established documentation, reporting, and compliance standards.

No prior AI experience is required, but strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of federal reporting or staff writing experience.
• Familiarity with DoD reporting formats and standards.
• Experience with US military branches preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings.
• Develop content following federal and military reporting standards.
• Evaluate sample reports using grading criteria and quality standards.
• Develop reference responses, guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
• Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.
