Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert to support an AI-focused project. You will create, review, and evaluate federal and military-style reports, ensuring compliance and clear, actionable content.

The role is remote within the United States. You will collaborate with project teams to produce WARs, SITREPs, and executive summaries while maintaining high standards and confidentiality. Strong writing, attention to detail, and experience with DoD reporting desired.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in federal reporting or staff writing.
Experience with military or federal reporting formats and standards.
Background with US military preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of federal compliance and reporting practices.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and remotely.

Responsibilities

Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries and briefings.
Develop content following federal and military reporting standards.
Evaluate sample reports using grading criteria and quality standards.
Develop reference responses, guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.
