Job summary

Jefferson Solutions Group is seeking a Project Manager to support a federal project. This role is fully remote and contingent on award.

Lead client engagements as Team Lead/PM and SME; manage staffing, invoicing, QA, and deliverables. Strong knowledge of federal contracting and grants lifecycle is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 7+ years of experience in executing and managing projects; minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• Deep understanding of federal contracting, budgeting process, and 2 CFR 200 as well as cradle-to-grave acquisition and grants management lifecycles.
• Experience developing and delivering acquisition and grant training.
• Adept with Microsoft Office suite/Office 365 and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Experience with process documentation, business process re-engineering, cost-benefit analysis, data tracking/reporting/visualization, and federal budget formulation/execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements as the working Team Lead/Project Manager and Subject Matter Expert.
• Lead the hiring, onboarding, and offboarding of employees, ensuring smooth transitions with the client.
• Approve and monitor timecards, resolving issues related to invoicing or reporting.
• Conduct regular employee performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Assign staff to project tasks and deliverables based on skills and project needs.
• Oversee and administer the Quality Assurance Program and Quality Control Plan.
• Contribute to the delivery and execution of high-quality work products.
• Review documentation and deliverables to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality standards.
• Mentor, coach, and support employees to foster professional growth and performance.
• Build a knowledge base of each client's business, organization, and objectives.
• Manage day-to-day client interaction and set client expectations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions.
