Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Federal Project Manager to oversee deployment and lifecycle management of mission-critical IT and communication systems for government customers. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, risk, and budgets, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

The role requires DoD-facing experience, a PMP background, and ability to travel ≥50% across the continental U.S. This is a remote-friendly, full-time position within the Federal Division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR 5+ years of experience in LMR, Engineering, Project Management, Technical Services, Government, Military or Public Safety.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; sponsorship is not available.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment and implementation of Motorola Solutions products and services.
• Lead cross-functional teams to launch new solutions or upgrades.
• Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to completion with budget and timeline controls.
• Draft and manage statements of work and vendor/subcontractor performance.
• Communicate progress in reviews and to stakeholders with clear documentation.
