Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales, systems engineering, or networking experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Federal, DoD, IC, or classified customers.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance at time of hire; CI Poly preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to travel ~25%.
• Expertise in routing, switching, security, and data center networking.
• Knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN/VXLAN, Segment Routing, multicast, and network automation.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting Layer 2/Layer 3 networking in complex environments.
• Able to explain complex tech to business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical leadership for Federal/National Security customers.
• Design and position secure networking solutions across campus, WAN, data center, and mission-critical environments.
• Lead customer presentations, workshops, demos, and PoC engagements.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to qualify opportunities and drive technical strategy.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders in highly secure environments.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable HPE Networking solutions.
• Partner with engineering, services, channel, and sales teams to deliver winning solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of networking vendors and market trends.
• Support account planning, pipeline development, and long-term territory growth.
