Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance at time of hire; CI Poly preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 5+ years of pre-sales, systems engineering, or networking experience.
• 3+ years of Federal/DoD/IC or classified customer experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Expertise in routing, switching, security, and data center networking.
• Knowledge of networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN/VXLAN, Segment Routing.
• Experience designing, positioning, and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking solutions.

Responsabilités

• Provide pre-sales technical leadership for Federal/National Security customers.
• Design and position secure networking solutions across campus, WAN, data center, and mission-critical environments.
• Lead customer presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and proof of concept engagements.
• Partner with Account Managers to qualify opportunities and drive technical strategy through closure.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders in highly secure environments.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable HPE Networking solutions.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, services, channel, and sales teams to deliver winning solutions.
• Maintain strong competitive knowledge of networking vendors and market trends.
• Support account planning, pipeline development, and long-term territory growth.
• Travel to customer locations as business needs require.
