Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales or systems engineering experience.
• 3+ years with Federal/DoD or classified customers.
• Active TS/SCI clearance at hire; CI Poly preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Up to 25% travel.
• Expertise in routing, switching, security, data center networking.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise, WAN, data center architectures.
• Familiar with BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN/VXLAN, Segment Routing.
• Experience designing Layer 2/3 networks in complex environments.
• Ability to explain complex tech to business audiences.
• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Self-starter who can ramp quickly and work independently.
• Experience across campus, branch, data center, WAN, cloud connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical leadership for Federal/National Security customers.
• Design and position secure networking solutions across campus, WAN, data center.
• Lead customer presentations, workshops, demos, PoCs.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to qualify opportunities and drive strategy.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into scalable HPE Networking solutions.
• Coordinate with engineering, services, channel and sales teams.
• Maintain knowledge of networking vendors and market trends.
• Support account planning, pipeline development, and territory growth.
• Travel to customer locations as needed.
