Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is strongly desired, but combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of federal contract and procurement experience or 10+ years of procurement experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience or 10+ years of sales experience.
• 5+ years of LV/MV power distribution product line experience or 10+ years of LV/MV power distribution product experience.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and support contractors within the sales area pursuing federal and defense projects.
• Engage in groups focused on federal and defense to build relationships benefiting Siemens and targeted contractors.
• Develop and implement business strategies, forecasting, and maintain the opportunity pipeline for federal/defense projects.
• Provide product support for Panelboards, Switchboards, MV gear, Lighting Panels, LV switchgear, Busway, MCCs, and related products.
• Utilize knowledge of U.S. Government procurement processes to prepare proposals for Federal customers.
• Maintain engagement throughout project life cycle to ensure objectives are met.
• Stay current on industry technology and Federal trends and market drivers.
