Job summary

Siemens seeks an experienced sales engineer to drive federal and defense projects in the Southeast market, focusing on Low/Medium Voltage switchgear and related products. You will develop relationships with general and electrical contractors, pursue government opportunities, and support bids and proposals.

The role requires 5+ years in federal procurement or 10+ years in sales, plus deep LV/MV product knowledge. Travel ~10% and US work authorization are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is strongly desired or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• 5+ years of federal contract and procurement process experience or 10+ years at a minimum.
• 5+ years of sales experience or 10+ years of sales experience.
• 5+ years of LV/MV power distribution product line or 10+ years of LV/MV power distribution product.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and support general and electrical contractors within the sales area pursuing federal and defense projects.
• Engage with federal and defense-focused groups to build relationships benefiting Siemens and targeted contractors.
• Develop and implement business strategies, forecast, and maintain opportunity pipeline for federal/defense projects.
