Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5+ years in federal contracts and procurement process; 10+ years acceptable.
• 5+ years sales experience; 10+ years acceptable.
• 5+ years LV/MV power distribution product experience or 10+ years.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and support general and electrical contractors within the sales area pursuing federal and defense projects.
• Engage in federal and defense-focused business development to build relationships that benefit Siemens and targeted contractors.
• Develop and implement business strategies, forecasting, and maintain opportunity pipeline for federal/defense projects.
• Provide product support for Panelboards, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, and related systems.
• Apply knowledge of U.S. Government procurement processes and compliance to propose solutions for Federal customers.
