Job summary

Siemens is seeking a seasoned sales engineer for Federal Government Construction Sales focusing on Low/Medium Voltage switchgear. The role demands experience in selling to federal and defense contractors within the DC/Baltimore market and involves remote/hybrid work in the South East region.

You will develop relationships with contractors, participate in strategy development, and manage proposals using your knowledge of U.S. government procurement processes and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering strongly desired; combination with related work experience considered.
• 5+ years of federal contract and procurement experience or 10+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience or 10+ years of sales experience.
• 5+ years LV/MV power distribution product line or 10+ years of LV/MV power distribution product.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and support general and electrical contractors in the sales area pursuing federal and defense projects.
• Engage with federal and defense groups to build relationships benefiting Siemens and targeted contractors.
• Develop and implement business strategies, forecast, and maintain opportunity pipelines for federal/defense projects.
