Job summary

Siemens is seeking a seasoned sales engineer for Federal Government Construction Sales covering Low/Medium Voltage switchgear in the Southeast US. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of federal contract and procurement experience or 10+ years of federal contract and procurement experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience or 10+ years of sales experience.
• 5+ years of LV/MV power distribution product line or 10+ years of LV/MV power distribution product experience.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and support general/electrical contractors in the SE federal/defense sales market.
• Build relationships with federal and defense customers and contractors to grow opportunities.
• Forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning for federal/defense projects.
• Provide product support for Panelboards, Switchboards, MV/LV gear, and related assemblies.
• Apply knowledge of U.S. government procurement, compliance, and security clearance to craft proposals.
• Maintain project life-cycle engagement to ensure successful government solutions.
• Stay current on federal trends and market drivers.
