The position offers remote/hybrid work in the South East market, with responsibilities spanning strategy development, forecasting, and end-to-end proposal support for federal customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is strongly desired, combination of education and work experience will be considered.
• 5+ years in federal contract and procurement, or 10+ years.
• 5+ years of sales experience, or 10+ years.
• 5+ years LV/MV power distribution product line, or 10+ years.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and support general and electrical contractors within the sales area pursuing federal and defense projects.
• Engage with federal/defense groups to build relationships benefiting Siemens and contractors.
• Develop and implement business strategies, forecasting and maintain opportunity pipeline for federal/defense projects.
• Provide product support for Panelboards, Switchboards, MV gear, Lighting Panels, LV Switchgear, Busway, MCCs, MCCBs, IEC/NEMA controls, safety switches.
• Apply knowledge of U.S. Government procurement processes and federal compliance to proposals for Federal customers.
• Maintain engagement through the project lifecycle to meet government and contractor objectives.
• Stay current on industry tech and federal market trends.
