Job summary

SMX seeks a dynamic Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower BAS implementation for a federal government client. The role is 100% remote with limited travel, requiring broad federal budgeting expertise and strong SAP SAC knowledge.

You will guide a cross‑functional team, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure delivery aligned with client needs and security requirements, including eligibility for Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/IT/finance or related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience leading IT or financial system implementations.
• Proven SAP ERP implementation and upgrade experience.
• Experience delivering projects for US Federal Government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from planning to delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Serve as primary liaison between federal client stakeholders, SMX teams and vendors.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan with risks and mitigations.
• Maintain SAC platform understanding to guide BAS solution delivery.
• Coordinate cross‑functional team to deliver capabilities and governance reports.
