Job summary

SMX is seeking a federal financial business analyst to join our client service delivery team working on the BAS planning and reporting solution for federal government customers. This 100% remote role requires deep budgeting and planning knowledge, a Public Trust clearance, and the ability to travel up to 20% if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Public Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in federal financial management or analytics.
• Experience with federal government financial data.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder skills.
• Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Understand client objectives, financial operations, and priorities.
• Analyze and document business processes and requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify improvements.
