Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver training for Customer Service Representatives supporting FEHB/PSHB programs. You will collaborate with instructional design and operations to create curriculum, scenarios, and assessments that reflect production environments and protect sensitive information.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, experience in new-hire training, and familiarity with LMS and Articulate Rise 360 or Storyline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 3+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center or customer service environment.
• Experience supporting rapid training development and delivery for new program launches.
• Experience facilitating systems, processes, policies, and customer service training.
• Experience developing simulations, scenarios, assessments, and knowledge checks.
• Experience coaching learners and supporting remediation or skill development.
• Familiarity with LMS and eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise 360 or Storyline.
• Experience delivering training to remote or geographically dispersed learners.
• Experience supporting federal or highly regulated programs, including handling PII, PHI, or sensitive information.
• Knowledge of FEHB, PSHB, benefits administration, or eligibility verification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop training curriculum and materials based on adult learning techniques.
• Develop training scenarios and update data resources to mimic production systems.
• Collaborate with partners and SMEs on needs analysis and learning objectives.
• Develop qualitative and quantitative assessment tools to measure competencies.
• Teach instructional programs and organize materials for presentation.
• Develop assessments to measure curriculum effectiveness and learner performance.
• Review and modify curriculums; recommend policy/procedure changes.
• Create training resources and maintain the training library aligning with standards.
• Adhere to established safety standards.
• Develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Contribute to organizational projects and goals.
• Communicate on complex or sensitive issues; draft responses for leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
