Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking a Coding Specialist 2 to handle CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for multiple specialties across clients and facilities. The role supports inpatient and outpatient coding with accuracy, productivity, and adherence to industry standards.

You will work from home, supporting professional fee and facility coding, with emphasis on quality and compliance. AAPC AHIMA credentials and 2+ years' experience are required, along with strong Excel and EMR skills.

Qualifications

• Certified through AAPC or AHIMA required.
• Minimum 2 years of coding experience.
• Proficient with CPT, ICD-10-CM/PCS, and HCPCS.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Work from home and code independently.
• Provide coding services for CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM.
• Calculate Facility E/M levels using company algorithm.
• Code OBS and ER procedures to capture revenue.
• Apply ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT and HCPCS codes accurately.
• Interpret coding guidelines for correct codes.
• Acknowledge documentation impact on reimbursement.
• Maintain productivity and quality targets (95%+).
• Communicate professionally with clients; support leadership.
• Potentially assist with audits and reporting.
• Align with AHIMA standards and ethics; protect patient information.
